On 19 to 21 February 2010, UMT had send 2 teams to compete in the National Novice tournament in UiTM Shah Alam. There are 98 teams participating representing almost 50 institution! among this, UMT debaters had gain great experience and knowledge, making new friends by means in the same time improving the debating technique. As the result are ot, one of UMT teams scores to be in rank 25 out of 98 participating teams!while the other team scored rank 60. Great improvement in UMT debating society! the speakers rank are as followed:
