Good luck for the VC Debate

Greetings y'all. From an unnamed source, I have been notified about the motions that has been released to the English category debaters (I'm just saying this so that people don't get confused that I'm referring to BM speaking debaters). For the record, here are the motions:

POLITICS
1) THBT MONEY POLITICS SHOULD BE LEGALISED.
2) THBT WE SHOULD STAY WITH PROTON PERDANA.

SPORTS
1) THBT WE SHOULD STOP SENDING OUR ATHLETES TO OVERSEAS.
2) THBT MALAYSIAN FOOTBALL: THERE IS STILL HOPE.

ECONOMY
1) THBT NEP IS NO LONGER RELEVANT.
2) THBT DUTY ON IMPORTED CARS SHOULD BE ABOLISH.
3) THBT WE SHOULD INCREASE THE DUTY FOR CIGARETTES.

ENVIRONMENT
1) THBT WE SHOULD SWITCH TO NUCLEAR ENERGY.
2) ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION: IS TOMORROW STILL THERE?

SOCIAL
1) THBT WE SHOULD SEND ANOTHER ASTRONAUT.
2) THBT REALITY TV SHOWS IN MALAYSIA PRODUCE MANY QUALITY ARTISTS.
3) THBT WE SHOULD RETAIN THE USE OF ENGLISH IN MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCES.

As cynical I may sound, I truly regret by the fact the motions are not view as a current issue and none seem to apply in the international arena (how come nothing on humanitarian issue???). I hope the committee members remind of themselves that the purpose of having this debate competition is not for the sake of glorifying DEMI's name, but to educate about debate, encourage critical thinking among all, and to exercise the brain for good health.
