Speech Rules and Regulations

  • The speech may be delivered in any of the following languages: Arabic, English, French, Japanese, Malay, Mandarin, Spanish.
  • Contestants may use speeches from famous figures. The speeches must be free from any sensitive issues such as religion, race, politics and so forth.
  • The length of the speech must be between 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Contestants who constantly refer to their notes during speech giving will be penalized.
  • Contestants who exceed the length limit will be penalized.
  • Any form of visual aid, including powerpoint presentation, is not allowed.
  • Points will be given based on delivery and pronunciation.

WTF??? That's such a sissy rule.. This really inhibits the student to be creative with their contents.. I say nay to that rule... :P

lol. no need to copy those famous figures. make something new out of your own idea. give out something you like. thats your idea, and theres the excitement.
